If a lakefront wedding is your choice, but not necessarily Lake Michigan, you could look at one of the Hamlin Lake Resorts that have direct access to the lake. They may be able to accommodate a wedding if rooms are reserved at their resort.

At the corner of N. Washington and Sherman, you’ll find the very pretty Memorial Tree Park. Nestled among the trees, you can enjoy a meal or snack at one of the picnic tables (some covered), and kids can play on the swings. Memorial Tree Park also has a sports field, open to anyone who wants to play a fun game of baseball or softball.

Tom Hamel is a professional wedding officiant who is willing to work with you on any type of ceremony you desire. Whether it be a traditional setting, a wedding on the beach, a cozy Bed & Breakfast, or another unique location--Tom would be honored to be part of your special day.

Our resort overlooks beautiful Upper Hamlin Lake and can sleep up to 100 people. Outdoor lakefront weddings can be held on the resort property during April, May, September and October. Summer months are not available. We can accommodate smaller weddings/reunions during the winter in our Sunset House or Indian Princess Lodge overlooking the lake.
