Pentwater's shops, art galleries and restaurants will be decked out for the holiday season and puts you in a festive mood. Refreshments and in-store specials make shopping locally that much nicer. CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR
Do some of your holiday shopping at Pentwater's Christmas Craft Fair Saturday, December 3 from 9am-4pm. It will be held at Pentwater Public Schools, with proceeds to benefit the Pentwater Band Program.

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS WEEKEND--TREE LIGHTING & SANTA'S ARRIVAL
Santa arrives for the Tree Lighting at November 26 at 5pm, so be on the Village Green to greet him and don't forget your Christmas list! There will be hot chocolate, cider and cookies for the kids, as well as gifts.

CHRISTMAS DECORATING CONTEST
You'll want to get your house decorated early, as the Christmas Decorating Contest takes place November 26 from 6pm-8pm. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for businesses and homes.

MERCHANT OPEN HOUSE
The Merchant Open House is also Saturday, November 26 from 6pm-8pm, where downtown businesses light up their stores and welcome you inside their warm and cozy shops. Enjoy your dinner at one of the restaurants, which have added holiday specials to their menus.

CHRISTMAS CAROLERS & HORSE DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDES
As you shop and browse the downtown shops, carolers from local churches will be filling the air with beautiful music. To complete the holiday atmosphere, chestnuts will be roasting and horse drawn carriage rides will transport you up and down Hancock Street. What a perfect setting!
